Mumbai, March 28 (NationPress) Playback artist Sonu Nigam recently had the pleasure of meeting former Deputy Prime Minister of India, L. K. Advani, along with his daughter, Pratibha Advani, following his concert at Delhi Technological University (DTU).

On Friday, the renowned singer shared a video on his Instagram, showcasing his delightful time with L. K. Advani and Pratibha Advani. He expressed his love for Sindhi cuisine, revealing that Pratibha prepared Sindhi Kadi for him.

In a heartfelt caption, he reminisced about their long-standing relationship, stating, “Pratibha Advani and L. K. Advani ji have been a part of my life for many years, which is why I chose to extend my stay after the DTU concert to enjoy lunch with them. Given that my mother grew up in a Sindhi household, Sindhi food has played a significant role in my upbringing. Pratibha, knowing this, kindly made Sindhi Kadi along with Dal Pakvaan. Advani ji, who is now 97, remains as wonderful as ever. They are my beloved extended family.”

Previously, Sonu, whose recent track ‘Mere Dholna 3.0’ has gained viral popularity, clarified an alleged stone-pelting incident that occurred during his performance at DTU.

He took to Instagram once more to provide an update, denying any stone-throwing, although some items were indeed tossed at him during the show. These included a smoking device and a headgear called 'Pookie band'.

Sonu posted a photo of himself donning the Pookie band and shared a detailed caption.

He noted, “Contrary to media reports, there was no stone or bottle throwing at DTU. A vape was thrown at Subhankar's chest, which prompted me to pause the show and remind the audience that further disruptions would lead to an abrupt end of the concert.”

“After that incident, the only item thrown on stage was the Pookie band, which was actually quite fun,” he added.
