Sonam Kapoor Shares a Dish That Evokes Fond Memories of Home

Mumbai, Dec 11 (NationPress) The Bollywood style icon Sonam Kapoor has disclosed that a specific dish that evokes memories of her home features Sindhi delicacies.

Sonam, whose mother Sunita hails from a Sindhi background, took to her Instagram stories, sharing a reel about the dish that she associates with home: “Sindhi koki with dahi and papad.” She also posted a video showcasing “masala bread.”

In her Instagram stories, the actress mentioned that she is returning to her home in London after her time spent in Dubai.

Sonam shared a photograph of a Christmas tree and captioned it: “Back home in London coming back to this lovely @dior.”

On December 8, Sonam offered a glimpse of her family by the seaside. In the first image, she is seen sitting alongside her husband, Anand Ahuja, on the beach, relishing the sunset view.

In subsequent photos, Sonam and her son Vayu are depicted playing by the sea.

Along with the images, she included a caption that said: “A friend recently asked me, 'If I had to drive to meet the person I wanted to be in my wildest dreams, who would that be?'”

“The answer was so clear: it's just me. The best version of me—a diamond in the rough that experiences and life keep polishing and refining, making me better every day. Everything I've ever wanted, everything I've dreamed of being, is already here. This picture says it all.”

“It's not about becoming someone else—it's about embracing who I am, completely, and trusting the journey to keep shaping me. @anandahuja, love you #everydayphenomenal is only with you by my side.”

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja were married in 2018 in a grand ceremony in Mumbai. They were in a relationship for five years before tying the knot. The couple welcomed their son, Vayu, in August 2022. After their marriage, Sonam divides her time between London, Delhi, and Mumbai.

Sonam is set to appear next in “Battle of Bittora”, produced by her father Anil Kapoor and sister Rhea Kapoor.
