The track has been composed by the duo Rohan Rohan, with lyrics crafted by Prasad Madpuwar, guiding listeners on a spiritual journey of devotion. The music video showcases Mahesh Manjrekar during the Wari pilgrimage, highlighting his emotional and spiritual transformation throughout this experience.
Reflecting on his experience in the studio, Sonu Nigam remarked, “Panduranga is my inaugural Wari song, and I am elated to be part of it. When Rohan Rohan shared the track with me, I was deeply moved by its spiritual essence. The song beautifully represents the spirit of devotion and the steadfast faith of Lord Vitthal's followers. I requested their assistance to grasp the intricate meanings of the lyrics, as they include traditional terms that were unfamiliar to me. I believe my tribute to Vitthal will resonate with listeners just as profoundly as it did with me.”
The film features Renuka Shahane and Subodh Bhave, and is directed by Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar.
The music composer duo Rohan Rohan stated, “Sonu Nigam was our top choice for ‘Panduranga’, as the song requires a calm and serene voice, and Sonu embodies that quality, enhancing the spiritual atmosphere. Recording this piece has been a remarkable experience, and we can't wait for the audience to witness this enchanting collaboration.”
The film is produced by Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg's Luv Films, with its soundtrack being distributed by Universal Music India. It is set to hit theaters on April 25, 2025.
