Sunny shared a selfie with the Indian Navy personnel on his official Instagram account.
In the photo, the 'Gadar' star donned a green shirt with matching dark green trousers and a black turban, complemented by a stunning view of the ocean behind him.

It’s noteworthy that Sunny was also featured in the original "Border" film released in 1997.
During the recent launch of the song "Ghar Kab Aaoge" from "Border 2", Sunny disclosed that his decision to participate in "Border" stemmed from admiration for his father, the iconic actor Dharmendra.
Sunny remarked to the press, “I did ‘Border’ because I was inspired by my father's film ‘Haqeeqat’. I was quite young back then. Once I became an actor, I promised myself I would also be part of a film like my father’s.”
For those unaware, Dharmendra passed away on November 24, 2025, at the age of 89.
The sequel will also feature Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty in key roles.

Recently, he had the honor of meeting the family of Hoshiar Singh. Sharing moments from this interaction on social media, Varun expressed, “Deeply honoured to meet PVC Hoshiar Singh Dahiya’s wife Smt. Dhano Devi ji and his son Colonel Sushil Kumar Dahiya. Receiving their blessings to carry forward the legacy of PVC Hoshiar Singh Dahiya is an incredible honour. I am truly and deeply grateful. Jai Hind.”
