Mumbai, Aug 9 (NationPress) Actor Sunny Hinduja, portraying an ISI agent in the highly anticipated series “Saare Jahan Se Accha”, shared insights into his approach to the role. He expressed that he was not hesitant in accepting the character and emphasized that his focus lies on the role's quality rather than its nationality or background.

Sunny highlighted the challenge of finding quality roles, stressing the significance of embracing intriguing characters, even if they play the antagonist, to authentically narrate a story.

Regarding his portrayal of a Pakistani agent, Sunny remarked to IANS: “There is a shortage of compelling roles. For a good role, countless actors are vying for it. Thus, as an artist, I don't consider the nature or origin of the role.”

“How is this role? If you find it appealing… It's incredibly challenging to secure a good role,” he mentioned.

Pratik Gandhi, who plays RAW agent Vishnu, added: “If we discuss Krishna, we must acknowledge Kansa, right? When addressing the military and intelligence of two nations, we have to consider the opposing side as well.”

“Someone has to portray it. Otherwise, how can we tell the story?”

“Saare Jahan Se Accha” chronicles the intense journey of RAW agent Vishnu Shankar, who embarks on a perilous mission deep within Pakistan.

Set against the fraught backdrop of the 1970s, a period where every strategic decision posed the risk of triggering a global nuclear crisis, the series showcases the fierce intelligence rivalry between India’s RAW and Pakistan’s ISI.

The cast also features Suhail Nayyar, Kritika Kamra, Tillotama Shome, Rajat Kapoor, and Anup Soni.
