Mumbai, March 16 (NationPress) The highly anticipated film ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’, featuring Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor, has officially announced its release date.

The movie is scheduled to premiere in cinemas on September 12, 2025. Alongside the lead actors, the cast includes Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf, Akshay Oberoi, Shabhinav Sharma, Maniesh Paul, and Manini Chadha in significant roles. The film is directed by Shashank Khaitan, renowned for his works like ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’, ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’, and ‘Dhadak’.

Initially slated for release on April 18, 2025, the film’s debut has been pushed to September due to unforeseen production delays.

‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ represents the second project where Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor collaborate, following their previous film ‘Bawaal’ directed by Nitesh Tiwari. This romantic comedy is produced by Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Shashank Khaitan. Given Karan Johar’s mastery in the romantic comedy genre, fans eagerly await the film’s arrival.

Previously, Varun shared some playful moments in his vanity van with Maniesh Paul and expressed his excitement for everyone to hear the upcoming Holi song from ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari (SSKTK)’.

On Instagram, he posted a reel captured in his vanity van after filming the new song, where Maniesh, covered in colors, playfully commented to Varun, “What have you done VD? You’ve done the most. Check this out.” He then shifted the camera to Varun, who was also painted in colors and dancing shirtless in the vanity van.

Varun could be heard saying, “VD house party… This is how we’ve been shooting for this song… This is what we do… So much color!”

He captioned the post, “Happy Holi… sending you greetings from the sets of #sunnysanskarikitulsikumari. Can’t wait for you to hear our new Holi song. Coming soon!”
