Chennai, June 21 (NationPress) Director Karthik Subbaraj revealed on Saturday that his film 'Retro', starring actor Suriya, found itself in a literal battle after its theatrical debut.

The renowned director expressed his gratitude to fans on his X timeline, stating, "50 days since #Retro!! What an emotional roller coaster it has been for me personally... The film truly fought a WAR following its release... Amid targeted animosity and agendas, we experienced an outpouring of love... Loads of love that led to The One winning this battle!! #TheOneWon."
