Actress Tanishaa Mukerji celebrated Makar Sankranti by visiting the sacred shrine of Grishneshwar’s Jyotirling and performing a ‘Rudra Abhishek’.
The actress shared several pictures from her spiritual journey, emphasizing the importance of the Jyotirlinga.

In the images shared by Tanishaa, she is seen near the holy Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga temple, elegantly attired in a bright pink saree, posing serenely for the camera.

In a subsequent image, she is captured while performing the Rudra Abhishek.

The actress had previously welcomed the New Year by immersing herself in ancient wisdom at the Karla Caves.

The Neil and Nikki actress shared pictures from her enriching visit to the caves on her social media.

She posted, “Embarking on the New Year by connecting with ancient knowledge at #KarlaCaves.”

She also highlighted the historical significance of the site: “The Karla Caves are a collection of ancient rock-cut Buddhist caves near Lonavala in Maharashtra, dating back to around the 2nd century BCE to about the 5th century CE.”

She continued, “These caves were located along a historic trade route and served as a monastery and resting place for monks and traveling merchants. Tanishaa concluded the year 2025 in Ujjain, where she was seen relishing her piping hot ‘Kulhad wali chai’ amidst the cold weather in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

She shared some pictures from this delightful experience on her social media.

For those who may not know, Tanishaa is the daughter of veteran actress Tanuja and sister of Bollywood star Kajol. Having been an active figure in Bollywood films over a decade ago, she has appeared in movies such as Neil and Nikki and Sarkar. She was also the first runner-up in the reality show Bigg Boss season 7.
