Mumbai, Oct 10 (NationPress) The renowned Bollywood action star Tiger Shroff has disclosed that he does not use any body doubles or visual effects when performing stunts; instead, he emphasizes rigorous preparation for each action scene he showcases on screen.
As the son of the celebrated actor Jackie Shroff, Tiger attributes his skills to diligent effort and divine blessings. He recently shared a video on Instagram demonstrating a stunt sequence, highlighting his commitment to authenticity.
He captioned the post: “No body double… no VFX… just extensive preparation for every sequence I undertake. Truly blessed with the talent from above (sic).”
Having recently starred in the action-packed film “Baaghi 4,” Tiger reflected on his transformative experience with the 2019 thriller “War” as it marked its sixth anniversary. He expressed gratitude to his director, Siddharth Anand, and co-star, Hrithik Roshan, for their contributions.
“6 years of a life-altering film. From idolizing my hero to kicking butt alongside him @hrithikroshan (heart emoji). Big thanks to my favorite mentor @s1danand (heart emoji). #war #6yrs (sic).”
In “War,” Tiger portrayed dual roles, embodying Captain Khalid Rahmani and Captain Saurabh Patil, following an Indian RAW agent tasked with neutralizing his former mentor gone rogue.
He also made a brief appearance in the recently released sequel, “War 2.”
Tiger debuted in acting with the action romance Heropanti in 2014 and achieved commercial success with action films including Baaghi (2016), Baaghi 2 (2018), and War (2019).
However, he has faced several setbacks with high-budget productions like Heropanti 2, Ganapath, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, and Baaghi 4, which did not perform well at the box office.
