Mumbai, Dec 5 (NationPress) Bengali actor Tota Roy Choudhury recently shared his insights from working alongside Dhanush on the film Tere Ishk Mein. He expressed being “awe-struck” by the remarkable transformation the star exhibits as soon as the camera begins rolling.
Tota took to Instagram, posting a photo with Dhanush, captioned: “With the exceptional actor…”
He reflected on how swiftly Dhanush transitioned from his polite and gentle demeanor to the fierce, intense character of Shankar, leaving him in a state of wonder.
“As soon as they yelled ‘action’, the change from the calm, respectful person he is to the furious and rage-filled Shankar was so rapid and astonishing that I often found myself just staring in amazement,” he remarked.
Tota mentioned that he became an admirer of Dhanush after watching the 2019 period action movie Asuran, which was directed by Vetrimaaran and is inspired by the novel Vekkai by Poomani. Nevertheless, Tota’s admiration for Dhanush has grown even more due to the kind of person he truly is.
“I became a fan of the actor #dhanush after viewing #asuran but became an even bigger fan of the amazing individual that @dhanushkraja sir is, after collaborating with him. #tereishkmein,” shared the actor, who portrays Yashwant Beniwal in Aanand L. Rai’s direction.
This film serves as a spiritual sequel to Raanjhanaa and features Dhanush alongside Kriti Sanon in lead roles. It narrates the story of Shankar, who forms a relationship with Mukti while she conducts her PhD research on him.
After their relationship concludes and she moves forward, Shankar enlists in the Indian Air Force, and years later, their unresolved history comes back into play when they reunite.
Tota is celebrated for his diverse acting skills, fitness, martial arts, and dance abilities. His notable performances include Feluda in the web series Feludar Goyendagiri, Chandon Chatterjee in Karan Johar’s film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, and Rohit Sen in Sreemoyee.
