Mumbai, Dec 1 (NationPress) Bollywood icon Udit Narayan marked his 70th birthday on December 1, surrounded by friends and fellow artists like Shaan and Sonu Nigam. The star-studded celebration featured clips shared by Shaan on his social media, where he expressed his joy, saying, “Happy Birthday @uditnarayanmusic!!! Had the pleasure of celebrating Udit Ji’s 70th (though he looks only 45) birthday with the #ISAMRA family!! So much fun,” accompanied by heart and star emojis.

In the footage, Sonu Nigam, Shaan, and other notable singers were seen performing the birthday song for Udit Narayan. This celebrated artist has won four National Film Awards and received the Padma Shri in 2009 and Padma Bhushan in 2016, highlighting his significant contributions to the arts and culture.

Notably, Udit Narayan made his Hindi playback debut alongside the legendary Mohammed Rafi in the film Unees-Bees in 1980, and he collaborated with Kishore Kumar during the 1980s. He rose to fame with the 1988 film Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak and produced numerous hits in Hindi and Nepali throughout the 1990s.

His remarkable tracks include Pehla Nasha, Papa Kehte Hai, Dil To Pagal Hai, Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai, Chand Chhupa Badal Mein, Hum Tum, Dil Ne Yeh Kaha Hai Dil Se, and Tumse Milke Dil Ka, among many others. On a related note, Shaan and his wife Radhika Mukherjee recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary.
