Mumbai, March 6 (NationPress) Actress Urvashi Rautela responded to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's remarks about enhancing Uttarakhand as a prime location for film productions.

In a conversation with IANS, Urvashi expressed, "As my birthplace, Uttarakhand is incredibly meaningful to me. I feel a profound connection to it. Everything PM Modi has initiated is commendable. The state showcases stunning scenery, a vibrant cultural legacy, and an excellent setting for filmmaking."

She continued, "With its varied landscapes ranging from snowy peaks to verdant valleys, Uttarakhand stands out as an exceptional film shoot destination. The government has also been proactive in enhancing facilities for filmmakers. Nonetheless, challenges such as access to remote sites and severe weather in some regions must be adequately addressed."

When asked how Uttarakhand's recognition as the most film-friendly state influences the local film industry, she replied, "This acknowledgment is a significant advancement. Enhanced infrastructure and government backing will not only draw in more filmmakers but also provide job opportunities for local talent, technicians, and artists. This will greatly uplift the regional film sector."
