Mumbai, June 20 (NationPress) As his film “ABCD 2” marks a decade since its release, actor Varun Dhawan reflected on “an abundance of memories, vibrant energy, and incredible colleagues”.
Varun shared a delightful video on Instagram featuring moments from the film's “wrap party”. The behind-the-scenes clip showcases Varun dancing alongside Remo D’Souza, Shraddha Kapoor, and Raghav Juyal to the catchy tune “Meri Pant Bhi Sexy” from the 1994 film “Dulaara”, starring Govinda and Karisma Kapoor.
In his caption, Varun expressed: “10 years of #abcd2. #bts of the wrap party of #abcd2. So many memories, so much energy, and just the most amazing people to collaborate with. I remember this wrap party vividly with everyone dancing to Hindi masala tracks (sic).”
“ABCD 2”, also referred to as Any Body Can Dance 2, premiered in 2015. Directed and choreographed by Remo D'Souza, it serves as a stand-alone sequel to the 2013 hit ABCD: Any Body Can Dance.
This film features Prabhu Deva, Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor, and Sushant Pujari, and draws partial inspiration from the real-life stories of Suresh Mukund and Vernon Monteiro, who established the renowned dance crew The Kings, which triumphed at the World Hip Hop Dance Championship in San Diego.
The narrative follows Suresh and Vinnie, childhood friends with a shared passion for dance. They form a dance group but encounter numerous challenges while striving to compete in the prestigious Las Vegas dance competition.
