Is Actor Vijay Antony Transforming His Production House into a Public Limited Company by 2027?

Chennai, Sep 11 (NationPress) Renowned music composer, actor, and producer Vijay Antony has officially revealed plans for his production company, Vijay Antony Film Corporation, to transition into a public limited company in the year 2027.

This announcement was made during the pre-release gathering for his upcoming movie, 'Sakthi Thirumagan', directed by the critically acclaimed Arun Prabhu.

During his speech, Vijay Antony shared, "I have actively reached out to numerous emerging and talented directors. For instance, I personally invited the director of 'Romeo', Vinayak, to collaborate with me on a project." He also mentioned, "I want to assist more individuals and inspire a greater number of young talents, enabling the production of exceptional content across various languages. However, achieving this requires enhanced financial capability, which can only be realized if Vijay Antony Film Corporation becomes a public limited company. Thus, we will make this transformation in 2027."

For those unfamiliar, the censor board has cleared director Arun Prabhu's highly anticipated neo-political thriller, Sakthi Thirumagan, for release, rating it with a U/A certificate. The film is set to premiere on September 19 this year.

Previously, Vijay Antony clarified at another event that the political themes in his film would be universally applicable.

He stated, "The politics portrayed in Sakthi Thirumagan is universal and not limited to any particular party or nation. This reflects the political landscape globally. I don’t plan on entering politics, despite having created political films like Kodiyil Oruvan and Yeman. Sakthi Thirumagan offers a unique perspective on politics, guided by Arun, that audiences haven't encountered before."

Both Vijay Antony and Arun Prabhu have expressed that the film will resonate with the audience's understanding of politics.

Sakthi Thirumagan has generated substantial excitement among viewers for several reasons. Firstly, it is under the direction of Arun Prabhu, whose previous films, 'Aruvi' and 'Vaazhl', received critical acclaim. Additionally, this marks Vijay Antony’s 25th film.

A teaser released earlier has suggested that the film promises to be a captivating thriller that will keep audiences engaged.

The teaser opens with a child's birth, followed by various characters discussing the largest scam in the nation. As politicians, bureaucrats, police, and citizens ponder the scam's origin, they discover that a man named Kittu is at the center of it all...

Sakthi Thirumagan is produced by Vijay Antony Film Corporation and features a musical score by Vijay Antony. The film boasts an impressive cast, including Vijay Antony, Vaagai Chandrasekar, Sunil Kripalani, Cell Murugan, Trupthi Ravindra, Kiran, Rini Bot, Riya Jithu, and Master Keshav.
