What Can We Expect from Vijay Antony's 'Sakthi Thirumagan'?

Chennai, Sep 18 (NationPress) The creators behind director Arun Prabhu's highly anticipated neo-political thriller, 'Sakthi Thirumagan', starring actor Vijay Antony, unveiled a sneak peek of the film on Thursday, just one day prior to its official release.

In a post on his X timeline, actor Vijay Antony shared the link to the sneak peek video, stating, "Sneak Peek of #ShakthiThirumagan. Releasing worldwide tomorrow. #VA25"

This sneak peek video transports viewers back to the year 1989, where a senior police officer arrives in what seems to be a rural area. The subordinate officers escort him to a crime scene, revealing that a few hours have passed since the incident occurred. As the narrative unfolds, a young tribal woman is discovered hanging from the ceiling, with a newborn baby beside her. The officer soon realizes influential figures are involved and receives a significant promotion offer from a wealthy businessman in exchange for concealing the case. In a shocking turn, he instructs a constable to abandon a child in what appears to be a waste dump.

It’s noteworthy that the Censor Board has approved the film for release with a U/A certificate. Earlier, Vijay Antony emphasized during an event that the political themes in the film are universal.

He stated, "The politics depicted in Sakthi Thirumagan will resonate universally. It is not limited to any specific party or nation. This is a form of politics that occurs globally. I have no intentions of entering politics myself. My previous political films include Kodiyil Oruvan and Yeman. Sakthi Thirumagan will delve deeply into politics from director Arun's perspective, showcasing a unique political dimension not previously seen."

Both Vijay Antony and director Arun Prabhu have expressed that the film will address relatable people's politics.

The anticipation surrounding Sakthi Thirumagan is immense for several reasons: it is directed by Arun Prabhu, whose earlier films, Aruvi and Vaazhl, received critical acclaim, and this marks Vijay Antony's 25th film.

Previously released teasers have led audiences to believe that the film will be a gripping thriller, likely keeping viewers on the edge of their seats throughout.

The teaser begins with the birth of a child and quickly transitions to various characters discussing the nation's biggest scam. As politicians, bureaucrats, and citizens ponder the identity of the mastermind behind the scam, they uncover the chilling truth: a man named Kittu.
