In a media conversation, the 'Darlings' star expressed that his ascent in the industry arises from individuals acknowledging his abilities and providing him with opportunities.
He articulated his eagerness to perpetually push his boundaries with varied roles, stating, “I continually feel that whatever I have accomplished in my roles is due to someone recognizing something within me. It’s not merely me crafting this character, but someone suggesting, 'you can portray this character too, you can take on that character.' Hence, I aspire to be challenged in such a manner. I have a strong yearning to undertake a comedy, and I wish to star in a zombie film, as it is among my favorite genres.”
Vijay Varma also shared that the preceding year resulted in a remarkable hat-trick for him with successful OTT ventures. The actor noted, “I believe my last theatrical release was prior to the pandemic, and I've had around 15 releases since 2020. They have mostly been streaming on platforms like Netflix and Amazon. It narrates a story based on a historical event. What it offers me is essentially a fresh interpretation of Bollywood that doesn’t conform to the traditional formula of four songs and a set number of action sequences. This represents a new parallel, which I have discerned.”
