Mumbai, April 25 (NationPress) Renowned for delivering hits like “War”, “Pathaan”, and “Fighter”, director Siddharth Anand is gearing up for an international venture titled “White,” featuring actor Vikrant Massey in the role of spiritual leader and humanitarian Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.

Anand, through his production company Marflix Pictures, is collaborating with Mahaveer Jain, known for Uunchai and NaagZilla, under Mahaveer Jain Films for this gripping global thriller.

Currently, production is in progress in Colombia, with filming set to commence in July. The film aims to showcase a remarkable international team to narrate the inspiring and impactful tale of how Colombia’s devastating 52-year civil war reached a resolution—a largely overlooked segment of contemporary peace-building.

Rumors surrounding Vikrant’s participation began circulating when he was spotted with significantly longer hair and undergoing physical changes.

Regarding the spiritual leader, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar is often referred to as Gurudev. Since the mid-1970s, he has been an apprentice of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, the progenitor of Transcendental Meditation. In 1981, he established the Art of Living Foundation, and in 1983, he conducted the inaugural Art of Living course in Switzerland.

Vikrant made his acting debut in the series Dhoom Machaao Dhoom, Dharam Veer, Balika Vadhu, and Qubool Hai. He transitioned to cinema with supporting roles in films like Lootera, Dil Dhadakne Do, and Half Girlfriend.

Vikrant’s performance in A Death in the Gunj marked a significant shift in his career as he landed a leading role.
