Prior to this, Vikrant was awarded the Best Actor accolade for his compelling portrayal of IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma in the film ‘12th Fail’, a biographical drama that also secured the title of Best Feature Film. He shared this honor with Shah Rukh Khan, who won for ‘Jawan’, marking a rare tie in this category and showcasing the diversity of acting talent recognized that year.

He viewed the award not just as a celebration, but as a reminder of the responsibilities that accompany such recognition, expressing profound gratitude to the jury and his collaborators.
