Chennai, Sep 21 (NationPress) Vismaya Mohanlal, daughter of the renowned Malayalam superstar Mohanlal, is set to make her acting debut in the upcoming film 'Thudakkam', directed by Jude Anthany Joseph, later this year. In a heartfelt gesture, she shared a delightful congratulatory message on social media for her father, who recently received the esteemed Dadasaheb Phalke award.

On her Instagram account, Vismaya, affectionately nicknamed Maya by her father, expressed her pride, saying, "Congratulations Acha! We’re all so so proud of you for the incredible artist you are and for the incredible human you are. #dadasahebphalkeaward."

Earlier this year, Mohanlal took to his social media platforms to announce Vismaya's film debut. Aside from her acting aspirations, Vismaya is an established writer with a published book titled 'Grains of Stardust'. She aims to follow in the footsteps of her brother, Pranav Mohanlal, who has successfully carved a niche for himself in the Malayalam film industry.

Director Jude Anthany Joseph is celebrated for his work on several critically acclaimed hits, including 'Ohm Shanthi Oshaana' and '2018', which represented India at the Oscars in 2024.
