Chennai, Sep 16 (NationPress) Expressing that it was truly an honor to direct actor Arun Vijay, who portrays the antagonist in his forthcoming film 'Idli Kadai', actor and director Dhanush revealed how Arun Vijay gallantly continued filming despite sustaining a severe blow to his face that caused him to bleed.
At the audio launch event held at the Nehru Indoor Stadium, Dhanush praised Arun Vijay, describing him as an exceptionally dedicated and sincere actor.
Dhanush stated, "We had a wonderful time collaborating. I have gained a true friend in Arun Vijay. Your hard work on this film has not gone unnoticed."
"During a fight scene, we were both airborne. My hand accidentally made contact with his mouth," he explained to the audience, clarifying that the punch had inadvertently landed on Arun Vijay's mouth.
"He bled. If anyone else had been in his position, the shoot would have been paused for two hours. Arun Vijay took just a moment, applied an ice cube, and said, 'Let's continue.' His dedication and sincerity are remarkable. Thank you for your unwavering trust in me. It has been a true privilege to direct you," Dhanush added.
