Mumbai, Jan 3 (NationPress) Renowned Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan, the host of the quiz show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’, once shared his admiration for his make-up artist Deepak Sawant and his unwavering dedication.

A recently shared clip from ‘KBC’ features the actor lauding his make-up artist. He stated, “This is Deepak Sawant. He has been by my side for 50 years. Over the course of these years, I have been involved in at least 200 films. Not a single day has he failed to be with me. He is incredibly dedicated; regardless of the situation—sick or otherwise—he arrives on time. There has never been a day in 50 years that he hasn't been there. I must emphasize this.”

He continued, “Just three days ago, Deepak Sawant's brother passed away. Yet, he still came to work. He didn't need anyone to tell him to show up today. This exemplifies true integrity and commitment.”

Amitabh Bachchan rose to fame with ‘Zanjeer’, solidifying his persona as the “angry young man” of the 1970s. Throughout the 70s and 80s, he starred in numerous commercially successful and culturally significant films, such as ‘Deewaar’, ‘Sholay’, ‘Don’, and ‘Trishul’. His career faced a pivotal moment with an injury during the filming of ‘Coolie’, which transformed his public persona. While his popularity waned in the late 80s, he briefly ventured into politics as a Member of Parliament from Allahabad.
