These detentions were made by SSB personnel across three states: Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Bengal.
A total of 17 inmates were captured in various areas of Uttar Pradesh, with 13 more taken into custody in Bihar and Bengal. Five of these detainees were apprehended on Wednesday evening.
The SSB has been conducting night patrols along the borders to prevent any Nepalese prisoners from entering Indian territory.
