86 Pakistani Nationals Rescued from Syria and Arrived in Lebanon

Islamabad, Dec 11 (NationPress) Approximately 86 Pakistani nationals, which include 79 pilgrims and seven educators stuck in Syria, have successfully made their way to Beirut, the capital city of Lebanon.
Efforts are currently in progress to facilitate the repatriation of these individuals to Pakistan, with embassy officials dedicated to ensuring their safe return, as stated in an official announcement.
This progress comes after Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif issued a directive on Monday, calling for the relevant authorities to formulate a plan for the rapid and safe evacuation of Pakistanis wishing to return from Syria via neighboring countries, as reported by Xinhua news agency.
The situation in Syria has been marked by severe difficulties due to ongoing political instability and conflict, leading to interruptions in basic services and creating safety hazards for both residents and foreign nationals.
