Quetta, Jan 24 (NationPress) This week, four Baloch civilians were reported missing after being forcibly taken by the Pakistani forces in Balochistan, as reported by various human rights organizations.

These recent events highlight an alarming trend of enforced disappearances and extrajudicial killings that have been escalating throughout the province.

The Baloch Voice for Justice (BVJ) condemned these acts, stating that 29-year-old Irfan, a shopkeeper from the Killi Qambrani area of Quetta, was abducted from his home on January 22 by personnel from Pakistan's Frontier Corps (FC).

“This incident has brought immense suffering to his family and showcases the ongoing abuse of authority in Balochistan. Such enforced disappearances infringe upon basic human rights and international law,” the organization emphasized.

Additionally, the BVJ reported that two brothers, Balach Hassan and Ehsan Hassan, were taken from their residence in Kohsar Bazaar, Gwadar district, around midnight on January 22 during a Pakistani security operation. Their current location remains unknown.

The BVJ has called for the immediate revelation of the brothers’ status and their safe return, insisting that the Pakistani authorities must face accountability and that the practice of enforced disappearances must cease.

Moreover, the Baloch National Movement’s Human Rights Department, Paank, condemned the enforced disappearance of 36-year-old Muhammad Hassan, a religious cleric from Killi Qambrani, by Pakistani forces on January 22.

The rights group noted that the abduction was executed by FC personnel along with the Pakistani Ministry of Interior.

They expressed serious concern as this marks the second instance of Hasan facing enforced disappearance, holding Pakistani authorities accountable for his safety.

Earlier reports from the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) indicated that a resident of the Mand area in Kech district, Noman, was extrajudicially killed after nearly two months of enforced disappearance at the hands of Pakistani armed forces.

His body was discovered in the Tump region of Kech, exhibiting clear signs of severe torture and gunshot wounds.

According to family members, Noman was illegally detained by the Pakistani army and Frontier Constabulary from a picnic spot on November 19, 2025, where his friend Ismail was also killed.
