Quetta, Oct 7 (NationPress) Prominent Baloch human rights advocate, Mir Yar Baloch, expressed his gratitude on Tuesday for the recent remarks made by India's senior military officials, condemning Pakistan’s persistent backing of terrorism that jeopardizes the nation's standing on the global stage.

He noted that India's leadership has displayed exceptional realism and accountability by urging Pakistan to renounce terrorism and embrace peaceful coexistence.

He also called for immediate international intervention to create a definitive and peaceful mechanism for Pakistan's official exit from Balochistan.

"The Pakistani military and intelligence services stationed in our regions act not as representatives of governance, but rather as oppressive entities, resembling occupying gangs more than legitimate institutions. Their dependency on substantial convoys and air support to operate illustrates their loss of legitimacy and authority within Balochistan," Mir shared on X.

On behalf of the Balochistan populace, the human rights champion reiterated their dedication to regional peace and collaboration, particularly with Afghanistan. He asserted that Balochistan is prepared to engage in joint border patrols and work cooperatively towards resolving the Durand Line (Pakistan–Afghanistan border) matter through dialogue and mutual understanding.

Mir stressed that Pakistan’s withdrawal from the Durand Line frontier would foster enduring regional stability, paving the way for new opportunities in cooperation, maritime trade, and shared prosperity.

He welcomed the upcoming visit of Afghanistan’s Foreign Minister, Amir Khan Muttaqi, to India, expressing hope that this engagement will unlock new pathways for collaboration in trade, economy, security, defense, technology, cultural exchange, and humanitarian efforts. "We believe lasting peace in Afghanistan serves the broader interests of India and Balochistan," he underscored.

Mir Yar further asserted that the people of Balochistan remain convinced that Pakistan, established on hatred, extremism, and hostility towards other nations and humanity, cannot peacefully sustain itself in this region.

"Terrorism is ingrained in Pakistan's institutional fabric. In a nation where military leaders disregard their own constitution, cast it aside, and provide refuge to international terrorists like Osama bin Laden while denying it to the world, expecting peace or sincerity from such a duplicitous and deceitful regime is a perilous illusion and a misuse of valuable time, resources, and lives," Mir emphasized.
