Brunei Unveils Digital Learning Program for Children with Autism

Bandar Seri Begawan, Dec 3 (NationPress) - Brunei has initiated a pioneering digital education program tailored for children with autism, according to local media reports.

The program features a customized digital education platform specifically developed for autistic children, aimed at providing them with essential tools to improve their academic, social, and communication abilities. Additionally, it seeks to empower parents and educators in supporting the children's growth, as noted by the Xinhua news agency citing the local publication, Borneo Bulletin.

Mohammad Nazri, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications of Brunei, stated that this initiative aligns with the Digital Economy Masterplan 2025, which promotes inclusivity and encourages the development of a digital society.

Brunei, an oil-rich nation located in the northern region of Borneo Island, boasts a population of approximately 340,000 citizens and enjoys a high standard of social welfare.
