New Delhi, June 3 (NationPress) The all-party delegation, headed by BJP MP Baijayant Jay Panda, has successfully concluded its tour across four nations: Bahrain, Kuwait, Algeria, and Saudi Arabia. The primary objective was to communicate India's zero tolerance towards terrorism and the 'New Normal' policy established by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to address cross-border terrorism.
Upon returning to the capital, Panda described the tour as highly successful, noting that all four nations comprehended India's steadfast stance on terrorism and took definitive actions against it.
"This journey proved to be very fruitful. The countries we visited—Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Algeria—have already taken significant measures against terrorism. Their positions are unequivocal. They recognize India's principled approach. Given India's historical context, we need not justify our actions. We have been a refuge for the oppressed for millennia and are a nation rooted in non-violence."
He emphasized that the delegation effectively presented evidence related to the Pahalgam terror attack, attributed to Pakistan-based terrorists, and detailed India's robust and calculated response.
"We aimed to present facts and statistics, particularly concerning the Pahalgam attack. The manner in which India responded exemplifies our 'new normal': we retaliate against terrorist acts with precision and intent," he stated.
"We have enacted economic sanctions, targeting trade, visas, and maritime access. Our objective is to unveil Pakistan's flawed policies and halt its overt support for terrorism," he added.
Panda acknowledged Prime Minister Modi for fostering strong relationships with regional leaders.
"Over the last decade, Prime Minister Modi has cultivated robust ties with these nations' leadership. Many have honored him with their highest accolades. As India experiences economic growth, these nations perceive India as a partner and seek collaboration on various shared objectives, including combating terrorism," he noted.
Regarding Pakistan's persistent disinformation efforts, Panda reiterated, "Pakistan continues to disseminate propaganda. For years, it was on the FATF grey list, which limited its access to international development funds. With its removal from that list, there are renewed concerns about fund misuse. We addressed this topic as well."
Panda concluded the tour by posting on X, stating, “I have just wrapped up a significant four-nation parliamentary mission across Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Algeria. Over the past few days, we conveyed India's strong message against terrorism, reinforced historic ties, and engaged in profound dialogues. I am thankful for the warm reception and meaningful discussions in each nation. Special thanks to my fellow delegation members; their insights, dedication, and teamwork were instrumental in amplifying India's voice during this mission.”
