Tokyo, May 23 (NationPress) JD(U) MP Sanjay Kumar Jha, who is leading an all-party delegation to Japan, highlighted on Friday that Japan has shown its support for India in the global fight against terrorism and its patrons, wherever they may be found.
During meetings in Tokyo, Jha pointed out that Japanese officials, including the Foreign Minister and a former Prime Minister, have voiced their full support for India's stance.
The delegation, spearheaded by Jha, comprises BJP MPs Aparajita Sarangi and Brij Lal, Trinamool Congress MP Abhishek Banerjee, CPI(M) Rajya Sabha member John Brrittas, and Congress leader Salman Khurshid.
In an interview with IANS, Jha stated, “We arrived here yesterday with an all-party team. The key point is that the attack in Pahalgam targeted innocent individuals, including children, who were separated from their families and brutally murdered. There were 26 victims. The entire sponsorship and training for this is occurring in Pakistan.
Jha stressed that India is pursuing a robust strategy under the guidance of Prime Minister Modi. “Three significant developments have occurred. The first is Operation Sindoor, which aims to send a message that ‘enough is enough.’ If there’s an attack on our civilians, we will retaliate, no matter where your training infrastructure is located,” he stated.
“Secondly,” he continued, “governments that support terrorism will be treated the same as the terrorists themselves. There will be no differentiation. Third, nations that cannot maintain neutral relations will not be accepted. We are making this clear to the world through our diplomatic efforts.”
Referring to global perceptions, Jha added, “Whenever there’s terrorist activity worldwide, a link to Pakistan is often discovered. If Osama Bin Laden could not be located anywhere else, where was he ultimately found?”
Jha also reiterated PM Modi’s assertion that “blood and water cannot flow together,” emphasizing that India will only engage in discussions about eradicating terrorism and reclaiming PoK.
“We anticipate Japan to educate its populace that terrorism is thoroughly sponsored by the Pakistani government. This is a delicate issue, and like us, other nations might also be affected in the future,” he remarked.
