Seoul, April 4 (NationPress) The Acting Defense Minister of South Korea, Kim Seon-ho, emphasized the necessity for the military to adopt a strong readiness posture in light of potential provocations from North Korea, following the Constitutional Court's decision that led to the ousting of the impeached President Yoon Suk Yeol.
In a meeting with key military commanders and senior defense ministry officials, Kim highlighted the urgency of maintaining military readiness to ensure the safety of the populace amidst the current tense situation, as reported by Yonhap news agency.
He instructed the commanders to continue with planned operations and training while ensuring political neutrality.
