Morocco and Hungary Strengthen Bilateral Relations

Rabat, Nov 28 (NationPress) The Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita and Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto have formalized a joint statement in Rabat aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation.
During their discussions, the two ministers highlighted their dedication to advancing the partnership for the shared benefit of the development of both nations, as reported by the Xinhua news agency.
In the joint statement, Hungary recognized Morocco's position as a beacon of stability and a conduit for growth and development in Africa.
Hungary, which is currently holding the presidency of the Council of the European Union until December 31, reiterated its commitment to fortifying the strategic partnership between Morocco and the European Union.
A press release from the Moroccan Foreign Ministry revealed that both ministers consented to enhance cooperation in vital sectors of mutual interest, including economy, agriculture, culture, sports, and tourism.
During his visit to Rabat on Wednesday, Szijjarto also signed a memorandum of understanding with Morocco's Minister of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development Leila Benali to bolster collaboration in the fields of environmental sustainability and development.
This year marks the 65th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Morocco and Hungary.
