They expressed their heartfelt thanks to the Indian leader for his unwavering support for the nation throughout its G20 presidency.

Numerous individuals took to X to commend PM Modi for the assistance provided by India to South Africa during its G20 Presidency, dubbing him the 'MVP of the Summit.' This visit marked PM Modi’s 12th participation in a G20 Summit since he took office in 2014.

A user on X, Ulrich Janse van Vuuren, shared, "I’m truly impressed with the gracious and supportive approach India has shown towards South Africa and the continent during the G20. So much love for India!"

Another user, Makhosazana Zwane-Siguqa, commented, "I’ve developed a huge admiration for Modi. His energy is incredibly motivating. He truly takes us seriously."

At the summit, PM Modi received a warm welcome from South African President Cyril Ramaphosa as global leaders convened for the historic first Summit on the African continent under South Africa's G20 Presidency.

During the summit, PM Modi engaged with several prominent leaders, including French President Emmanuel Macron, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, WTO Director-General Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Ethiopia’s PM Abiy Ahmed Ali, IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva, and Italian PM Giorgia Meloni.

Importantly, leaders at the G20 Summit reached a consensus on disaster resilience, debt sustainability, energy transitions, and critical minerals, culminating in the adoption of the G20 South Africa Summit's Leaders' Declaration on Saturday.
