New Delhi/Johannesburg, Nov 19 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to travel to Johannesburg, South Africa from November 21-23 to participate in the 20th G20 Leaders’ Summit, as announced by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).

According to the MEA, This marks the fourth consecutive G20 Summit hosted in the Global South. At this meeting, the Prime Minister plans to share India’s viewpoints on the G20 agenda, and he is anticipated to address all three sessions.

The sessions will cover topics such as: Inclusive and Sustainable Economic Growth; A Resilient World; and A Fair and Just Future for All, focusing on issues like climate change, disaster risk reduction, critical minerals, and artificial intelligence.

In addition to the G20 Summit, Prime Minister Modi is likely to engage in several bilateral discussions with various leaders attending the summit.

As per the MEA's announcement, Modi will also join the India-Brazil-South Africa (IBSA) Leaders’ Meeting hosted by South Africa.

Before the G20 Summit, Anil Sooklal, South Africa's High Commissioner to India, praised Modi's ongoing efforts and contributions to meet the collective aspirations of the Global South.
