During separate discussions with Pakistan's Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and India's External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, Secretary Rubio emphasized the necessity for both nations to “reduce tensions, restore direct dialogue, and ensure peace and stability in South Asia”.
