Amaravati, June 25 (NationPress) Governor S. Abdul Nazeer of Andhra Pradesh and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu have expressed their heartfelt congratulations to Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla, marking him as the second Indian to venture into space.
Governor Nazeer applauded Group Captain Shukla, who is now recognized as India's second astronaut to travel to space in the past four decades, as part of the Axiom Mission 4. This mission commenced aboard the SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft, which took off from NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida on Wednesday, heading towards the International Space Station (ISS).
The Governor described this as a moment of pride for the nation and its citizens, extending his best wishes for a successful mission to Group Captain Shukla.
Chief Minister Naidu also celebrated this significant milestone by taking to 'X' to offer congratulations. He stated, "And liftoff!
