Washington, Feb 26 (NationPress) On Wednesday, President Donald Trump revealed that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will be visiting the White House on Friday to finalize an agreement that grants the US access to Ukraine's rare earth minerals. Additionally, there will be discussions surrounding the ongoing Ukraine war.

“It's all been worked out,” President Trump stated during his opening remarks at the inaugural cabinet meeting at the White House. “Most importantly, by far, we're going to strike a deal with Russia and Ukraine to end the violence,” he emphasized.

President Trump considers these rights as a means to recover some of the funds the US has invested in supporting Ukraine's defense against Russia.

“We've managed to broker a deal that allows us to recoup our investments, and we anticipate significant financial returns in the future. This is crucial since our taxpayers should not bear the burden alone, especially when Europe should contribute more,” he remarked.

Trump also noted that the US has contributed more than Europe in aiding Ukraine, despite Europe being more directly impacted by the conflict.

The President has consistently pointed out that the US is geographically distanced from the turmoil.

In his discourse, President Trump indicated that he has communicated with both President Zelenskyy and President Vladimir Putin, while his officials have held discussions with representatives from both nations.

He asserted that if the US wishes to halt the fighting, engaging with President Putin is essential, reiterating, “They hadn’t reached out to President Putin in two years.”

The cabinet meeting welcomed Elon Musk, who provided a brief overview of his initiatives as the chair of the Department of Government Efficiency, despite facing some resistance from federal agencies.

“ALL CABINET MEMBERS ARE EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH ELON,” President Trump shared via his social media platform Truth Social. “The Media will witness that at this morning's Cabinet Meeting!!!”
