Jaipur, March 12 (NationPress) In a significant operation against illegal liquor smuggling, Bhadesar police in Rajasthan's Chittorgarh district confiscated 196 boxes filled with liquor, concealed within a container that was carrying cartons of clothes. This shipment was being smuggled from Haryana to Gujarat, as reported by the police on Wednesday.
Three suspects, identified as Naseem Meo (23), Mohammad Saad (22), and Yayaha Meo (24), have been apprehended.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Sudhir Joshi indicated that stringent orders were given to all police stations to combat illegal liquor smuggling in the area.
In response to these instructions, a team led by ASP Sarita Singh, CO Bhadesar Anil Sharma, and Bhadesar SHO Dharmaraj Meena established a blockade near Sukhwada Bridge on the Chittorgarh-Udaipur highway.
