Anandpur Sahib, Nov 25 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Punjab, Bhagwant Mann, along with AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal, participated in a divine gathering to invoke blessings for the advancement of Punjab and the well-being of its people.

They engaged in a solemn 'ardas' following the 'bhog' of Sri Akhand Path Sahib, commemorating the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur along with revered Sikh martyrs Bhai Mati Das-ji, Bhai Sati Dass-ji, and Bhai Dayala-ji at Gurdwara Baba Budha Dal Chauni.

The leaders were part of a significant congregation, expressing their gratitude to the Guru and praying for the welfare of all.

Both leaders expressed that it was a profound honor for them to serve in the commemorative events marking this significant milestone.

During the occasion, the Chief Minister and Kejriwal emphasized that Sikhism promotes a genuine model of socialism and secularism globally.

They highlighted that the Guru Granth Sahib serves as a beacon of universal brotherhood, secularism, and socialism for all humanity.

Mann and Kejriwal remarked that the people of Punjab, especially Sikhs, have a rich legacy of courage and sacrifice passed down from the great Sikh Gurus, who inspired them to resist tyranny, oppression, and injustice.

They reinforced the responsibility of the state government to safeguard this rich cultural heritage for future generations.

Both leaders noted that it is the heartfelt desire of millions worldwide that the 350th martyrdom day of Guru Tegh Bahadur should be commemorated with the grandeur and respect it deserves, reflecting the unmatched sacrifice of the Guru.

They affirmed that, in line with the expectations of countless individuals globally, the state government has made commendable efforts to ensure that these commemorative events are truly memorable, expressing that both the government and the people of Punjab feel privileged to partake in this historic and sacred event.
