Is Adani Group Leading India's Defence Breakthrough with SkyStriker Drones?

New Delhi, May 12 (NationPress) In a significant achievement for India's defence industry, Kamikaze drones collaboratively developed by Adani Group's Alpha Design Technologies and Israel's Elbit Systems were effectively utilized in 'Operation Sindoor'.

Manufactured in Bengaluru as part of the 'Make in India' initiative, the SkyStriker drones provide precision strikes with a loitering capability of up to two hours.

This development signifies a substantial advancement in India's ambition for self-sufficiency in cutting-edge defence technologies.

The successful mission has led to a rise in Elbit's stock, indicating international confidence in the Indo-Israeli collaboration. Adani's involvement highlights its increasing prominence in strategic sectors and reaffirms India’s vision of becoming a hub for defence manufacturing,

Rajvanshi leads the Group's mission to transform India into a leading destination for high-tech defence manufacturing, in line with the 'Make in India' initiative.

In 'Operation Sindoor', India deployed drones and missiles to eliminate up to nine terrorist camps in Pakistan’s Punjab and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir, resulting in the elimination of more than 100 terrorists, avenging the tragic massacre of 26 tourists in Pahalgam. This operation was followed by strikes on critical airbases across the border in response to Pakistan's drone and missile assaults on Indian civilian regions and military sites, which were effectively countered by India's air defence systems.

Union Science and Technology Minister Jitendra Singh remarked that modern warfare is entirely driven by technology, and India's supremacy has been demonstrated over the past four days.

While addressing the National Technology Day, the Minister highlighted that under the visionary guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has effectively developed and deployed indigenous technologies that have significantly bolstered national security and defence capabilities.

He acknowledged that India's defence capabilities have greatly expanded in the last decade, crediting Prime Minister Modi for establishing a supportive environment for scientific advancement.

“India has always possessed talent, but now we have leadership that nurtures innovation,”

he noted.
