Prayagraj, Jan 26 (NationPress) An upgraded version of the artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot is now aiding pilgrims in locating parking, food courts, and hospitals within a 1 km radius during the Mahakumbh 2025.
This new iteration of the chatbot has been specifically crafted to assist devotees, featuring these three essential functionalities.
The AI chatbot will not only offer comprehensive mapping of the Mahakumbh but will also provide detailed information about each sector, including links to Google Maps.
With this chatbot, devotees can swiftly obtain information on parking, transport, banking, public water ATMs, and various other services within seconds.
The government reports that through the chatbot, devotees can download real-time PDFs containing essential details about toilets, lost and found centres, exhibitions, and other critical locations tailored to their needs.
By scanning a QR code, users can immediately access information about key locations directly on their mobile devices.
Millions of devotees have already made use of this AI chatbot.
“With its efficient and user-friendly design, it significantly improves convenience for those participating in the Mahakumbh,” stated the government, emphasizing that the fusion of technology and faith through this chatbot is streamlining the world's largest religious gathering.
Additionally, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has incorporated its AI-powered language translation tool, Bhashini, at the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj to enhance accessibility in 11 languages.
The Bhashini language translation ecosystem will facilitate attendees of the world’s largest spiritual gathering through the ‘Digital Lost & Found Solution’.
Individuals can report lost or found items using voice commands in their native languages and can also utilize the platform for real-time text/voice translation, ensuring effective communication throughout the mega event. It also offers multilingual chatbot assistance for inquiries and kiosk navigation.
Devotees can utilize the mobile app to translate guidelines into local languages, as well as ensure seamless communication with police officials. The Uttar Pradesh Police Department has collaborated with the Bhashini App to train field officers to leverage the Converse feature in the app to better understand the concerns of distressed devotees seeking assistance in case of a language barrier.
