Kolkata, May 23 (NationPress) BJP’s IT Cell Chief and the party’s central observer for West Bengal, Amit Malviya, raised concerns on Friday regarding the notice dispatched by Kolkata Police to the authorities of X regarding a message he shared. In his post, Malviya suggested that residents of the state are enduring hardships due to a power tussle between Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Trinamool Congress general secretary Abhishek Banerjee, who is also the Chief Minister's nephew.
“I have been informed by X that they received a notice from @KolkataPolice asserting that the content below breaches the Information Technology Act of India. Rather than issuing takedown requests, shouldn't the authorities clarify to the people of West Bengal which specific provision has allegedly been transgressed?” Malviya articulated in a new statement on his X profile.
