Amit Shah Hails India's Thrilling Victory Over Pakistan

New Delhi, Feb 23 (NationPress) Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday extended his congratulations to Team India for their impressive victory over Pakistan by six wickets in the ongoing Champions Trophy 2025.

The Home Minister expressed his joy in a post on ‘X’, stating, “An electrifying performance!! Well played Team India. You have made everyone proud by living up to the expectations of millions of cricket fans around the world. All my best wishes for your future matches.”

BJP President J.P. Nadda also congratulated Team India, praising Virat Kohli for his outstanding century against their long-standing rivals. “Congratulations to the Indian Men's Cricket Team on this remarkable victory against Pakistan in the #ICCChampionsTrophy 2025! Kudos to Virat Kohli for his impressive century, leading the team with his experience and skill. This match was a perfect example of teamwork, with every player playing their part to secure the win. Best wishes for the upcoming matches, and may the team continue to carry forward this winning momentum,” Nadda wrote on X.

Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya shared his excitement after the match, congratulating Team India as well. “Heartiest congratulations to the Men in Blue on their emphatic victory against Pakistan in the #CT2025. What a great all-round performance by the team. A special mention to @imVkohli for a wonderful innings & for becoming the fastest to reach 14,000 ODI runs. Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Shivraj Singh Chouhan described India’s win over Pakistan as a ‘spectacular victory’ for the nation. “Amazing victory! Many congratulations to the Indian Cricket Team for their spectacular victory against Pakistan in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025! All the countrymen are proud and happy on this achievement of yours. Congratulations to all the members of Team India. I wish that this sequence of victory continues uninterrupted. Bharat Mata ki Jai,” he posted on X.

Union Minister of Commerce & Industry Piyush Goyal expressed his joy, saying: “What a match and what a win! Brilliant teamwork by our Men in Blue in the #INDvsPAK Champions Trophy match in Dubai. Meanwhile, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta noted that India’s victory stemmed from a strong team performance. “The Indian cricket team registered another historic victory by defeating Pakistan in the Champions Trophy with its strong performance. This is not just a match, but a victory of the enthusiasm and passion of every Indian. The hard work, teamwork and fighting spirit of the players are commendable. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also congratulated Team India, saying, “Heartiest congratulations to the people of India and Team India for the 'Virat' victory! Jai Hind,” he wrote on X.

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi offered his hearty congratulations to Team India for their thrilling win against Pakistan in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. “Huge congratulations to Team India on their thrilling win against Pakistan in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami labeled the win as ‘historic’. “Historical victory. The Indian cricket team has defeated Pakistan in the group league match of Champions Trophy-2025. Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde also congratulated Team India on their win. In his detailed post, he wrote on X: “Chak De India… Indian cricket team's thrilling victory over Pakistan… All the Indian bowlers bowled first and bowled hard at the Pakistani batsmen. The Indian bowlers kept the Pakistani batsmen busy at regular intervals, preventing the Pakistani team from scoring big runs. Kuldeep Yadav bowled well and dismissed three Pakistani batsmen. Meanwhile, Delhi BJP MLA Manoj Tiwari also congratulated Team India on their win. Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi described Team India’s performance as a ‘masterclass in teamwork and resilience’. “Epic triumph for Team India! A masterclass in teamwork and resilience, with Kohli’s century leading the charge. A glorious win for every heart that beats for Indian cricket!” the LoP wrote on X.

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge commended Virat Kohli and Kuldeep Yadav for their stellar performance. “The Indian cricket team's decisive victory over Pakistan in today's ICC #ChampionsTrophy 2025 match is commendable. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin mentioned that Team India’s victory was a ‘clinical performance’. “Clinical performance by #TeamIndia! West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee expressed that she is ‘feeling happy’ after Team India defeated Pakistan. “Feeling happy at the emphatic win of our boys today over Pakistan in ICC Champions Trophy 2025. Congratulations to the India Team for the sweeping victory in the prestige match!” the Chief Minister wrote on X.

Senior Congress MP Shashi Tharoor praised Virat Kohli for his performance. “Over the last 15 years, I have often rooted for Virat Kohli to get a century. Rarely has he deserved one more than today and rarely have I been as emotionally invested in watching him score it! Congrats, @imViratKohli!” the Congress MP wrote on X.

AAP also congratulated Team India, stating the entire country is eager for Team India to create history by winning the Champions Trophy. “Jai Hind!
