Amaravati, Sep 10 (NationPress) The Andhra Pradesh government has successfully identified 187 individuals from the state who are currently stranded in Nepal, a region affected by violence, and has commenced actions to facilitate their rescue.
These individuals are located in various areas throughout Nepal.
Nara Lokesh, the minister responsible for Real Time Governance in Andhra Pradesh, is directly supervising the safety and rescue efforts. He will monitor operations closely from the state RTG center located in Amaravati.
The minister has decided to cancel his scheduled visit to Anantapur, where the NDA government is hosting the 'Super Six-Super Hit' event to commemorate the fulfillment of 'Super 6' commitments.
“In my role as AP's RTG minister, I will be coordinating rescue and support operations to ensure our citizens are brought to safety as soon as possible,” he announced on 'X'.
As per official reports, the stranded individuals are dispersed across four locations: Bafal – 27 persons, Similkot – 12, Mahadev Hotel, Pashupati – 55, and Pingalasthan, Gaushala – 90 persons.
Officials have confirmed that a total of 187 Telugu citizens have been located, and this number may increase as more connections are made.
