It was on October 7, 2001, that Narendra Modi first took the oath as the Chief Minister of Gujarat. Now, as he embarks on his third consecutive term as Prime Minister, he enters his 25th year of uninterrupted service in public office.
Union Minister of State for Defence, Sanjay Seth, remarked to IANS, "This day holds immense significance for Indian democracy. On October 7, 2001, a transformative figure entered Indian politics, reshaping the fate and image of Gujarat and ultimately the entire nation. When Narendra Modi became Chief Minister, Gujarat was facing a crisis, but he navigated it with extraordinary courage and propelled the state forward."
He noted that Prime Minister Modi adheres to the development-focused ideology.
"In just 11 years, the country has reached unprecedented heights. The nation's global standing has improved significantly.
