Ranchi, March 18 (NationPress) The lifeless body of an Army officer, recognized as Lt Colonel Diwakar Kumar, was discovered in the parking area of Khelgaon Housing Society in Ranchi, where he lived, on Tuesday morning, according to police reports.
Upon notification about a body found in the parking area, a team from the Khelgaon police station promptly arrived on-site. The remains were retrieved and dispatched for a post-mortem examination to ascertain the precise cause of death.
Initial investigations indicate the possibility of suicide. Family members mentioned that Lt Colonel Kumar was receiving treatment for depression and was on medication. However, police are also considering other possibilities, including an accident or foul play.
