Jaipur, July 8 (IANS) The father of Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, Dau Lal Vaishnaw, has sadly passed away on Tuesday morning, succumbing to ailments related to advanced age.
He had been in declining health for a while and was recently admitted to AIIMS Jodhpur following a deterioration in his condition.
Hospital sources report that he took his last breath at 11:52 a.m.
A resident of Jeevand Kala village in Pali district, Dau Lal Vaishnaw later made his home in Jodhpur, specifically in Mahavir Colony near Ratanada Bhaskar Square.
He was a well-regarded community leader, having served as the sarpanch of his village and actively engaged in social initiatives. Additionally, he enjoyed a long and esteemed career as a lawyer and tax consultant in Jodhpur.
The final rites for Dau Lal Vaishnaw will be conducted later today at the Vaishnaw Samaj crematorium in Kaga, Jodhpur.
Family, relatives, dignitaries, and various political and administrative leaders are expected to attend.
He leaves behind his wife, Saraswati Vaishnaw, elder son Ashwini Vaishnaw, and younger son Anand Vaishnaw.
