He praised the tableaux from different States and Ministries, which narratively illustrated a confident, innovative, and progressive India dedicated to realizing a Viksit Bharat by 2047.
Radhakrishnan pointed out that this year bears special national significance, marking the 150th anniversary of ‘Vande Mataram’, a song that inspired the freedom movement and continues to evoke devotion to the motherland, as stated.
Underlining the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Vice President mentioned that Bharat Parv embodies the spirit of ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ by uniting traditions, crafts, cuisines, and artistic expressions from across the nation on a single platform.
He cited initiatives like the Kashi Tamil Sangamam as living examples of India’s enduring cultural ties and civilizational unity.
Discussing India’s evolution during the Amrit Kaal, Radhakrishnan noted that improvements in infrastructure, digital empowerment, financial inclusion, social security, women-led development, and youth innovation are reshaping the country’s foundations.
He highlighted that the remarkable growth in domestic tourism, with over 400 crore domestic tourist visits in 2025, reflects a renewed national confidence and eagerness to explore India.
