Patna, Oct 9 (NationPress) Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav made a significant commitment on Thursday, asserting that if his party secures victory in the upcoming Bihar elections, one individual from each family in the state will receive a government job, regardless of age, caste, or community.
While addressing the media in Patna, Tejashwi Yadav announced that this proposal was developed following the enforcement of the Model Code of Conduct and is backed by thorough research and practical viability.
“This vital promise comes in the wake of the election date announcement. The plan is practical and founded on in-depth studies. Once the results are declared on November 14 and our government is established, we will introduce a law within 20 days to ensure one government job per family in Bihar,” he stated.
In a pointed critique of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and the NDA government, Tejashwi Yadav accused them of failing to deliver jobs over the past two decades.
“During my 17-month tenure, I kept my 2020 election pledge by providing five lakh government jobs. However, I am not content with that and strive to guarantee that every family in Bihar has at least one public servant,” he emphasized.
The RJD leader added that offering government jobs would inherently resolve issues such as housing and social security.
“The NDA government speaks of giving stipends to the unemployed but shies away from actual job creation. They have merely imitated my earlier promises and lack vision,” Yadav noted.
Tejashwi further criticized the ruling coalition on law and order and economic challenges, asserting that his party’s return to power would signal a transformative moment.
“For two decades, the Nitish government has only brought insecurity to the people of Bihar. Following November 14, when our government is in place, it will herald a celebration of Bihar (Jashn of Bihar),” he declared.
He concluded by vowing to establish a government characterized by transparency and accountability: “I will dedicate the next five years to honesty, integrity, and excellence to construct a new Bihar.”
