Patna, June 18 (NationPress) In the midst of a heated exchange of accusations as the Bihar Assembly elections loom, Union Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai responded sharply to Tejashwi Yadav, the Leader of Opposition in Bihar, regarding his derogatory 'Jamai Aayog' comment.
“Tejashwi Yadav lacks the moral credibility to make such unfounded claims. The appointments to various commissions are strictly based on merit, experience, and transparency, rather than any form of favoritism or nepotism,” claimed Rai.
Rai also criticized the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), referring to it as a “parivarik party” (family-run party).
“The RJD is dominated by a single family: Lalu Prasad Yadav, Rabri Devi, Misa Bharti, Rohini Acharya, and Tejashwi Yadav all hold influential positions. The irony speaks volumes,” he asserted.
The Union Minister highlighted the importance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s forthcoming rally in Siwan on June 20, branding it a landmark event.
“The people are exceedingly enthusiastic. All constituents of the NDA are actively rallying support for this occasion,” he stated.
Reiterating the deep-rooted connection between PM Modi and the citizens of Bihar, Rai remarked: “The people of Bihar view Narendra Modi as part of their family. His dedication to Bihar’s development is unwavering.”
In related news, BJP State President Dilip Jaiswal announced that the Prime Minister will visit Jasoli village in Siwan at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 20.
“This will be PM Modi’s 52nd visit to Bihar and his sixth within just the last six months. Each visit brings development initiatives for the state, which is why he is greeted by massive crowds,” he claimed.
