Patna, Oct 28 (NationPress) The AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi ramped up his campaign for the Bihar Assembly elections on Tuesday, conducting rallies in Dhaka and Munger.
In Dhaka, located in the East Champaran district, he advocated for Rana Ranjit Singh, the party’s nominee, while in Munger, he sought backing for AIMIM candidate Monazir Hassan.
During his addresses, Owaisi launched a fierce critique against both the NDA and the Mahagathbandhan (Grand Alliance), alleging that they have overlooked the interests of the state’s Muslim populace.
Owaisi asserted that Bihar needs liberation from 15 years of Tejashwi’s rule and 20 years of Nitish Kumar’s governance.
Taking a jab at Tejashwi Yadav, he stated, “In Bihar, a son from the Mallah community, which constitutes only 3% of the population, can be made Deputy Chief Minister, while a member of the 14% community can ascend to Chief Minister. Yet, Muslims, who make up 17%, are denied these roles. This is not social justice — it is political discrimination.”
The AIMIM leader also criticized the BJP-led administration regarding the National Register of Citizens (NRC) controversy.
He remarked, “Post-NRC, only two infiltrators have been identified. Amit Shah and PM Modi claim that infiltrators have infiltrated Bihar — so where are they? If they’re likening them to rats, let me clarify that Owaisi does not hunt rats.”
Later, at a grand rally at Charwaha Vidyalaya grounds in Munger, Owaisi attracted thousands of supporters as he continued his biting critique of both ruling and opposition coalitions.
Owaisi also targeted PM Modi, Lalu Prasad Yadav, and Nitish Kumar, accusing them of engaging in opportunistic politics.
He stated, “Nitish’s heart beats for Rajgir, Lalu Prasad and Rabri care for Tejashwi, and PM Modi has his heart set on Ahmedabad.”
Challenging the RJD, Owaisi questioned, “How long will you keep instilling fear among Muslims in the name of the BJP?”
He further asserted that both Lalu Prasad Yadav’s and Nitish Kumar’s administrations have epitomized “jungle raj,” contending that Bihar continues to suffer from lawlessness and neglect under their leadership.
