The occasion saw the presence of both Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha at the CM office.
In Bihar's Begusarai district, numerous Jeevika Didis received funds, expressing their delight at the financial boost of Rs 10,000, which they plan to use for initiating their own enterprises.
A few beneficiaries shared their joy with IANS, thanking the government for the support that encourages them and others to pursue self-employment.
Some intend to invest in sewing machines for tailoring and embroidery work, while others plan to open grocery stores or venture into animal husbandry.
